In my motivational story “Loser’s Final”, one of the central character Krishnamurthy mystical experience is explained in chapter 11 , named as last resort. After returning from his ancestral home, he saw a street magician requesting the audience to predict the cage having white dove. He strongly felt that the second cage is having the white dove. Suddenly an inner voice corrected him by calling him as fool by revealing that the white dove is not in the cage but in the hat of the magician. At last when magician took out the dove from his hat, Krishnamurthy could not hide his embarrassment thinking that what is that inner voice which tried to communicate with him.
This incident really happened to me but context is entirely different. During that period , I was a aggressive speculator in stock market and to sharp my predicting skills. I tried to predict the exact spot where the train will stop by marking a specific floor tile. Suddenly an inner voice mocked me and remind me that the exact spot is three tiles above the predicted floor tile. I got surprised, when train door stopped on that exact spot. Afterwards I tried to develop this skill to help me in stock market but miserably failed and realized that it an autonomous process beyond the analytical faculty of brain.
When mathematical genius Ramanujan revealed that, he is downloading formula in his dreams as a blessing of his family deity Namagiri devi, a manifestation of goddess Lakshmi. And this is not an rare incident, where intuitive knowledge helping a person in his endeavor. On contrary, it is a universal phenomena experienced by many scholars and scientist. Scientist August kekule visualizing a snake biting its own tail that resulted in the finding of benzene ring and Albert Einstein visual thought on special relativity all reveal that some thing is interacting with us which has more knowledge and act more smarter than us.
Today when we claim that, every thing is scientific and life originated in universe as accidental phenomenon, we are forgetting all these human experiences which are beyond our comprehension. I tried to convince myself that the secrecy of universe without revealing much to its creation might have some superior logic that we have yet to discover. The agonizing truth is that many people who are intuitive in nature later become mad people, when they relentlessly try to give meaning to all their hallucinations, imaginations, blind beliefs and crippled thoughts. When I was staying in Bangalore during the initial stages of my career, I saw a mad man pretending himself as crucified Jesus near Malleswaram, while standing in the middle of the road, he extended his hands and experienced the pain of crucifixion. According to his thoughts, he might be crucified Jesus but for all the passer by he is just a mad man pretending himself as Jesus. This reminds us the danger in giving logic to all our imaginations. Such uncontrolled imagination have a major role in religious fanaticism and superstitions and it is a strong bait for a unscrupulous person to control and manipulate us.
Having said this, the gamut of human experience might not be complete with out adding the mystical element of intuitive experiences. Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce intuitive experience reveal us that how human can harness this capability. Personally I don’t believe in all the revelations made by them because of two reasons. Mind might rely on imagination when it failed to produce intuitive thoughts. Second aspect is that universe is capable of altering every reality that we experience. The double slit experiment revealed that, how unpredictive is the universe is in its quantum realm. It is highly impossible to negate the spiritual notion of the observer and the experiencer role in life. It is just like an iceberg, where we may know more about the experiencer but highly ignorant about the observer.
